My commiserations to Anna Kendrick for losing out at last night’s Oscars to Monique in the Best Supporting Actress category. It had always looked like being Monique’s to lose, so it comes as no surprise that Anna missed out, despite earning rave reviews for her work in George Clooney drama, Up in the Air. However, she did look amazing at Hollywood’s glitziest night. And it wasn’t just Anna flying the Twilight flag as Kristen and Taylor were also there, looking incredible!

So let’s get some fashion details. Anna wore a gorgeous light pink draped gown with Chantilly lace by Elie Saab with a Judith Leiber clutch and looked fantastic despite missing out on the ultimate accessory – the Oscar. But most dramatically, the dress wasn’t her original choice to wear for the showbiz shindig. “There was another dress that was being made,” she admitted. “The designer will remain nameless… It was not for me. It was blue.” Well, we doubt it could have suited her as much as the delicate pink which is so great with her fair skin.

Not nominated but still doing their bit were Kristen and Taylor who took to the stage at the Kodak Theatre to introduce a homage to horror films, looking back at the year’s crop of big screen scarers. Taylor looked his usual polished self in a Dolce & Gabbana tuxedo linking arms as he took to the stage with Kristen who opted for a more dark and daring shade than Anna. Rather than go for the very popular nude/ neutral look, she looked fantastic in a Monique Lhuillier navy blue silk and satin gown with a H. Stern diamond bracelet and Bally heels.

Kristen is already receiving rave reviews from fashion critics for her glamorous choices and we definitely agree. The Twilight trio was undoubtedly the best dressed there – if only Rob could have turned up and made it a fantastic foursome!
