David Slade is ‘now making the prints for your cinemas’

We’re almost there! With only just over a month to go until the release of The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, director David Slade is once again tweeting on the films progress. We were getting a bit worried that David and the team were still working on the film so close to its release, but he’s now put our minds at rest. He took to his Twitter to let us know that he’s now making the prints of the film to send to the cinemas around the world.
We can hardly contain our excitement for Eclipse now, and back on the 19th May David tweeted that he was:
Reaching the end of the Eclipse post production schedule, mere weeks before we rollout the cinema prints, which I will check myself.
And just a couple of days later he said:
Just another day or so and our picture will be complete. Feels like I have spent months in a dark room. PIcture is looking beautiful.
Of course I then have a few more weeks in dark rooms checking the various stages of photochemical prints and IMAX.. But we are getting there
Seems that he’s made some progress since he has just tweeted:
Now making the prints for your cinemas. We are officially one step away from the screen. In celebration here is a pick taken of Ashley during pre production.
And the picture of Ashley Greene as Alice Cullen he included is very cool, she looks so serious. Maybe she’s getting ready for a big battle!
