Biography: Born in Washington it was with dreams of a music career that Billy Burke said goodbye to his home state and made the move to Los Angeles, California. After disappointments with record labels, he channeled his efforts in acting, having already starred in two indie films back in Washington, and soon began landing small TV roles. He went on to build a solid CV including supporting roles in TV (24) and films (Ladder 49, Fracture, Untraceable) and now is best known for his moustachioed turn as Police Chief and father to Bella, Charlie Swan in the Twilight films.
