Biography: Onscreen since the wee small age of 10-years-old, Los Angeles native Michael Welch has already enjoyed a pretty impressive career and he's still only in his early 20s. Along with the part of Forks High School student Mike Newton, Michael is best known for playing Luke Girardi on TV show, Joan of Arcadia (2003 – 2005). For this role, he won the Young Artist Award, his second time winning such an honour after scooping it back in the late 90s for playing Artim in Star Trek: Insurrection. He's also enjoyed guest spots in such hit programmes as CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, The X-Files and Frasier. A veteran at only 22, he also finds time to plays drums in a band and is hoping to finish his planned one-man show – one day when he's free.
