Name: Taylor Lautner

Biography: Michigan-born Taylor Lautner first strayed into showbiz when at the age of nine he starred in made-for-TV movie Shadow Fury. He continued in television through his early teens in children's programmes and made the step up to film in 2005 when he snagged the titular part of Shark Boy in director Robert Rodriguez's The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl 3-D. Three years later he was cast as Native American Jacob Black in Twilight and despite media speculation that he would be replaced for the remaining films in the franchise, he will return as werewolf Jacob in The Twilight Saga: New Moon (2009) and The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, having put on 32-pounds in muscle for the role.
