Biography: Charlie is the divorced and single father of our heroine, Bella Swan and is also the Police Chief of Forks. He has a quiet and understated manner and is very low-key and private about his deep love for his daughter. From him, she has inherited her clumsiness and her shy, loner quality. His marriage to Bella's mother, Renée was short-lived and while she moved away from quiet Forks and re-married, he has remained there and is still a bachelor. He is close friends with Billy Black and Harry Clearwater and his hobbies include fishing and watching baseball.
